Privacy Policy

This policy applies to: Hot Wheels Value, Gun Value, Banknote Value, Wine Cellar Value, and other identification & valuation apps published by Sogerg ("the Apps"). We refer to the app you are using simply as "the App" below.
What we collect
- Photos you scan. When you identify an item, the photo is uploaded to our storage and analyzed by an AI vision model to produce the identification result. Photos are kept so you can view your identification history, and are deleted if you delete that identification or your account.
- Anonymous account identifier. The App creates an anonymous account for you on first launch. We do not require your name, email, or phone number to use the App.
- Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, our payment provider (RevenueCat) and the app store (Apple/Google) process your payment. We receive and store only your subscription status (active/expired/plan type), never your payment card details.
- Basic usage data. Number of identifications performed, app crashes, and similar technical data, used to keep the service reliable and enforce fair-use limits on the free tier.
How we use it
- To analyze your photo and return an identification, condition assessment, and estimated value.
- To optionally search public marketplace listings (via a third-party search API) for comparable sale prices.
- To enforce free-tier usage limits and premium entitlements.
- To generate the PDF export you explicitly request.
Third parties we use
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Cloudflare — backend hosting and image storage.
- Google Gemini / OpenAI — AI analysis of the photo you submit.
- Serper.dev — web search used only for the optional market price-check feature.
- RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play — subscription purchase processing.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos to train AI models beyond the single request that processes them.
Your rights
You can delete any identification, or your entire account and all associated data, at any time from within the App. Deletion is permanent. See how to delete your data for step-by-step instructions, or contact us at support@sogerg.dev.
Children
The Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Apps evolve. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
